Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari; also formerly known as Cape Comorin, is a town in Kanyakumari District in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The Kanyakumari beach is a beautiful sight with multi-coloured sand.The confluence of three ocean bodies - the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea - makes the sunrise and sunset even more special.

Padmanabhapuram Palace

Padmanabhapuram Palace Malayalam is located in at Padmanabhapuram Fort, in Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India. It is the former capital city of the kingdom of Travancore. It is about 20km from Nagercoil, and about 50km from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The palace is complex inside with an old granite fortress around four kilometers long. The palace is located at the foot of the Veli Hills, which form a part of the Western Ghats.

Sothavilai Beach

The Sotha Vilaibeach is one among the most important beaches in the district of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The beach here stretches over 4 km which make it one among the longest beaches in Tamil Nadu. It is also one among the most seriously affected areas of the district during the 2004 Tsunami.

Mathur Hanging Bridge

Constructed in 1966 as a drought relief measure across the river Pahrali, Its purpose is to carry water for irrigation from an elevated level of one hill to another. It is one of the longest and highest aqueducts in South Asia and is also a popular tourist spot in Kanyakumari District.

Thirparappu Falls

Thirparappu is famous for its waterfalls and is located 42 km from Hotel REECH. This famous falls is in the Kodayar (Kothai River). The Kodayar makes its descend at Thirparappu and the water fall at this place is about 13 km (8.1 mi) from Pechiparai dam. The waterfalls is 300 feet long and consists of a rocky riverbed. The water falls from a height of nearly 50 ft and flows with great force for around seven months of the year.

Courtallam Falls

Courtallam or Kutralam, Spa of South India, is situated at a mean elevation of 160 m (520 ft) on the Western Ghats in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu, India. Many seasonal and few perennial rivers such as the Chittar River, the Manimuthar River, the Pachaiyar River and the Tambaraparani River originate in this region. The numerous waterfalls and cascades along with the ubiquitous health resorts in the area have earned it the title the Spa of South India. Season begins from June of every year till September.

Kovalam Beach

Kovalam is a beach town by the Arabian Sea in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India, located around 45 km from Hotel REECH. It is the only International beach in India. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. Kovalam has three beaches (Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach and Eve’s Beach) separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline, the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach.
